Privacy policy

Subkick is built to help you track subscriptions and bills without connecting your financial accounts.

Last updated October 23, 2026

Information in the app

When you add a subscription or bill, Subkick stores the details you enter, such as its name, price, billing cycle, renewal date, category, status, and any optional details you provide. The app uses this information to show totals, upcoming renewals, and insights.

Subkick does not connect to your bank, email inbox, or subscription accounts. It does not make payments or cancel subscriptions for you.

Where it is stored

Your payment list is saved on your iPhone. A copy is also made available to the Subkick Home Screen widget through the app’s local shared storage.

When iCloud is available for Subkick, the app automatically saves a backup of your payment list to your own iCloud Drive and may restore that backup after reinstalling. Apple handles the storage and processing of data in iCloud under your Apple account and its own privacy terms. Subkick does not operate a separate server for your payment list.

Sharing and services

The current app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs. It uses Apple’s local notification system to send renewal and free-trial reminders if you allow notifications. The app may open an external service’s website when you choose a cancellation or account-management link; that website has its own privacy practices.

This website and early testers list

This website does not ask you to enter subscription or bill details, use advertising trackers, or set analytics cookies. Like most websites, its hosting provider may process standard request information, such as your IP address, browser details, and pages requested, to deliver the site and maintain security.

If you join the early testers list, the name, email address or Instagram handle you provide, along with the page URL, are sent through FormSubmit to our mailbox. We use those details only to contact you about Subkick testing. We keep them until they are no longer needed for testing outreach or you ask us to remove them.

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to answer your message. Your email provider and ours also process that message. We keep support correspondence only as needed to answer and follow up on your request; you can ask us to delete it.

Your choices and deletion

  • You can edit or remove individual subscriptions and bills in the app.
  • Settings → Clear all payments replaces the local list with an empty list and, when iCloud is available, updates the app’s iCloud backup.
  • You can manage Subkick’s iCloud data in your Apple account settings and control notifications in iPhone Settings.

Subkick has no separate account or server-side payment record for us to retrieve or delete.
